STOP TITHING TO THE 6 MEMBER BOARD! PAY YOUR TITHES AND OFFERING DIRECTLY TO THE SPIRITUAL LEADER PERSONALLY, OR, DEPOSIT THEM IN A SAVINGS AND WHEN THE MESS IS OVER AND THE 6 MEMBER BOARD IS GONE – GIVE THEM TO THE MINISTRY!!! THE TITHES ARE UNTO THE LORD – NOT CHURCH BOARD MEMBERS!
Any money given directly to Pator Joel should not go in the churches envelopes! Hey if the board doesn’t like us giving to Pastor Joel then lets get together and pay his bills, help pay his legal expenses, unlike the minutia, Pastor Joel has taken none of the churches money to pay his attorneys. There are so many creative, legal ways we can support this man of God. But guess what Pastor Joel cares more about his neices and nephew and his children than getting a new car or any other superfical gift. He cares about getting souls saved and making sure they have a comfortable place to come once they get saved, that he and his wife came out there own pocket to renovate the welcome room and give out gift boxes to the new members. He and his wife sat in the dark because they came out there pockets to help pay for the furneral of a member who didn’t have insurance! The sacrifices this couple has made for the cause of Christ makes them worthy of the abundace Christ has for them!

Pastor Joey prophesied over my life a few years ago, saying “God told me to tell you that He will protect your heart”. And it came to pass (in a big way). Things occurred in my life that normally would have taken me out, but leaning on what Pastor said to me allowed me to “soldier” on through controversies with so much joy and peace flowing from within my spirit, that my family and friends were more concerned about me than I was about my situation. And God did indeed protect my heart! Thanks to Pastor’s prophesy over my life, I was able to make it through! I have been reading a lot of what’s going on at the “City of Praise” and about the attack on Pastor Joey. None of this concerns me at all. See, I know a Pastor who taught me that our trials and tribulations are there to make us strong (like a two-edged sword that is placed in fire, pounded on, placed in fire, pounded on, ….. separates the bone from the marrow). And this too is Pastor’s time. I invited a friend to church with me one Sunday, and all the way to church she and I debated over an issue that really concerned us in a way that we needed resolution. We arrived at church at the time when Pastor would clap his hands and jump into his message. At that moment as we were walking through the doors of the Sanctuary, Pastor suddenly said to everyone to stop where they were because the Lord had just placed in his spirit that someone had an issue …. The expression on my friend’s face was priceless, because at that moment Pastor Joey literally answered the debate that had up to that moment been unresolved between us. Afterwards, Pastor just jumped back into his message, without breaking stride. I wasn’t surprised at all, because I remember so many (Wednesdays) and Sundays I would literally run through the doors of the Sanctuary for “validated” Word from Pastor. And Pastor never failed! When Apostle became ill quite a number of years ago, I began to question whether Pastor Joey would be able to take over City of Praise. One day, a few months from the time I was in doubt, I received in my spirit that Pastor Joey was ready – and that was quite a number of years ago. I sat there Sunday after Sunday watching this Man of God delivering the Word which helped this congregation to grow. I watched him impart into the spirit of men, which raised them up to love and take care of their families. I watched while First Lady would say to women of the church how to love and support their husbands. I watched Pastor give to so many Word that they could stand on in time of trial and tribulations. I watched this man humbly tell his stories of controversy with which the members of the City of Praise could identify. I watched this man and First Lady love, respect and honor the members of City of Praise. The Word will never fail, even at the lowest points in our lives. And the Word tells us that this, what Pastor is going through, is consistent with the many teachings that the City of Praise has received from Pastor Joey over the years, and the Spirit that flowed through those teachings into the minds and souls of the body of City of Praise. With that said, Pastor told me a few years ago that God told him to tell me that He will protect my heart. Well, God told me when I doubted whether Pastor Joey was ready to run City of Praise, that He has Pastor Joey and for us not to worry about our Pastor. God has Pastor Joey, and God’s Word always prevails! (Though I have not been in attendance on a regular basis lately, Pastor Joey will always be my Pastor)… My love and blessings to the body of City of Praise and to the First Family! God Bless…..

Praises goes to my Pastor and first lady. Please continue to stay strong in the word of God. For It is He that has and will substain you during this trying times. I am deeply sadden of all that is going on at My temple. I just continue to trust God with it all. He shall show up and show out. Apostle was a mother in Zion. Often times I just say that What I know and have learned from this ministry, I know that God will not leave us. As far as the 6 people. Lord have mercy on them. I just don’t want to be around them when the Wrath of God Shows up. We must continue to stay focus on the mission, stay saved and Let not our hearts be troubled. Because we know that deliverance is coming… Peace to my Spiritual family. We have the Victory.

The Lord sees all and knows all; no one can throw a rock and hind their hands and think that the Lord does not see it. (God is pulling back the shades and He will reveal the nake truth) so keep the faith. The truth will prevail. If God be for you who can be against you and hope to succeed.
