The six employees of Jericho Baptist Ministires are up to no good. The have the nerve to greet Pastor Joel using the name of God. Please people we have to rally the following is a letter that Pastor Joel received at his home today. God please help us at the City of Praise to get our Church back and let these people flee. PLEASE READ THE WHOLE LETTER. WE HAVE TO GALVANIZE CITY OF PRAISE AND GET THESE PEOPLE OUT OF OUR CHURCH. THEY WANT TO BE DICTATORS. My comment is this: No trustee board has this type of power in any other church. You cannot meet with the devil and try to find a common ground. The devil comes to kill, steal and destroy, and that is the goal of these six crooks to take the legacy from Pastor Joel R, Peebles, Jr. and his family. Not only that but they have stolen our tithes and offerings to pay for legal fees to go against the anointed man of God. They have cursed holy ground which cost lives to be built. Whatsoever a man soweth that shall he also reap! God is not mocked! I do not know how true it is but it has been said that they are using church money to purchase personal items like nice cars and homes! My last statement is this: We need a strategy heavenly father to get these people out of City of Praise. Not only that they must put back everything they stole seven fold. Lastly, if they want a church that bad, they need too leave and go start their own. I pray they repent before it’s to late..

My heart broke when I read this…This is not of God at all…Lord intervene right now in Jesus name. I stand behind my Pastor any simply refuse for another pastor to come into our pulpit like this..it is disrespectful to the body of Christ. Praying for a change..We got the victory in Jesus.

The 6 so called board members have commited an injust towards Pastor Joel Peebles Sr., Chairman William Meadows, and Anne Wesley. With this said they should be charged with INTENTIONAL MISCONDUCT and should be held personally liable for their actions. Apostle Peebles was taken from her family. The Peebles family was given no access to the Apostle for 3 months. Her son, Pastor Joel had to involve the police to find his mother. When she was found, she was in a nursing home and had bed sores the size of a man’s fist. She asked her son why he nad not come to see her. He had not been allowed to see her by church employees who had taken her. Mr Meadows and Mrs. Wesley were tricked and deceived into signing themselves off of the board on which they had served for over 30 years. They were given the last page of a multipage document to sign. When you praise Jesus Christ, you praise Him with your mind. I do not know how these so call 6 board member pray or who they answer too, it certainly is NOT the Almighty GOD.

What is considered non-spiritual matters in the eyes of God? The illegal voted themselves into power board of six. Non-spiritual matter conducted at the court house instead of handling church affairs at church. Perhaps, trying to tell the Pastor how to conduct the Sunday service? Everyone listen, we must stand up and tell the board this Sunday that they have been relieved of all duties pertaining to trustee. There are no written rules in place. Instead of trying to work with our Pastor to resolve issues they are trying to over-rule him.
Pastor Joel said be at church at 10am on December 4, 2011. I’ll be there when he says be there. No board illegal board of trustee is going to tell the City of Praise when and what time to share worship at the City of Praise. The church belongs to the people. I believe God has instructed Pastor Joel to call worship service at this time. Why is it that you are being disobedient to the word of God? We don’t want a guest speaker we want our Pastor Joel to speak and teach the word of God – THIS SUNDAY AT 10AM. This goes for any other day or time God instructs him to do so. I don’t know why the board thinks someone is going to listen to there suggestions? They also, want to keep the City of Praise in the dark about the evil deeds they have commited. Board of six you are the true spectacles of this church. We see you for what you have become and I ask you to repent board of six, let go and let God lead our Pastor Joel as he has been instructed by God to lead the City of Praise worship and teachings. Stop stealing our money
After reading this letter I find it very hard to understand how you (the fake board) can “tell” the Pastor to have control yet, want to control him by telling him what to do, when to do it and how it should be done. He is the Pastor of the City of Praise!!!! He has complete and total control over his congregation. You must understand that Pastor Joel takes direction from God and not out-of-control people. People have kidnapped his mother, forge her name on many documents, stole her possessions and smiled in his (Pastor Joel) face as though they did nothing wrong. Please understand vengence is the Lord’s and the truth shall be revealed. There is no weapon formed agaisnt us that will prosper.
This group of people will have to find a new home. Whether it be here on earth or in hell. They must go!!!!!
IN THE NATURAL REALM
As a relatively new member at City of Praise, I will admit to be exposed of the church politics, business and the division of some members is very discouraging. It hurts deeply knowing that Well Seasoned Christians, as many are in the City of Praise based on the longevity of their membership, and the positions they hold self-appointed or elected Board of Trustee’s or Elders and Deacons can conduct themselves in the same mannerism of unsaved worldly people. This proving my theory right “The same people you meet on the street is the same people you see in church but with different attire on”
IN THE SPIRITUAL REALM
We all fall short and I’m so glad he ain’t through with me yet, none of us for that manner. And on that note I want to make it publically known Pastor Joel and 1st Lady Ylawnda, I love you and I’m so grateful that you all are my spiritual leaders. Please know by sharing this untactful experience with your congregation the effect it has had on me has caused me to really grow up spiritually. Yes, I can truly say and mean it with all sincerity that I’m in God’s boot camp and I am a Christian soldier and I got you all’s back! How does that saying go? What the devil meant for evil God made it good. You all know what I mean. Anyhow, Love you more Pastor Joel and 1st Lady and I’m consistently praying for you!
I wish i understood how these people that are trying to take over our church rest at night. You moved up in the church all right you went and learned about God, the trouble is you wanted to be a leader but first you must be called by God and must have the Holy Ghost something none of you have. You have been putting on even speaking in other tongues. But, God knows sees all!! How could you spend Gods money for the upkeep of the church!? What about the money from the Redskins games?! What are you doing with it?! And look at how you all treat Elder Joel, the one that’s praying for your souls! If you don’t change your ways you will be in a world of trouble. The fact that Elder Joel is younger than all of you, remember that Jesus was 33 and preach and so can Elder Joel.
